Russia denies organizing food crisis
WASHINGTON, May 6 (PRIME) -- Russia denies allegations that it is triggering a food crisis and insists that its export capacities were hurt by sanctions, Ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov said on his Telegram channel on Friday.
"The situation would have been different, if some state hadn't created artificial barriers," Antonov said.
He said that disconnection of the banks from SWIFT and the transport sector sanctions were the most detrimental for Russia's exports, but the country would continue exports of food, fertilizers and fuel despite the circumstances.
